Break Ke Baad is a Hindi movie and it's directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishika Lulla & Priti Kapoor. This film stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Sunny Suljic and others. Break Ke Baad grossed 1 crore(100 million) at the box office. The film was released on 10 October 2016 all over India.The movie tells the story of four friends who were studying for college exams in Mumbai who decide to take a break from their studies to pursue their dreams of being rock musicians... They all decide to leave the city and go to Goa for a vacation to relax and find themselves.

The movie received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Taran Adarsh gave it 2 out of 5 stars and said, "There is grit in "Break Ke Baad", but in most parts, this is a light-hearted musical comedy where all you will find are fun songs and comical situations." Rajeev Masand gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars stating, "I’m hard-pressed to think of another Hindi film this year that has so wholeheartedly embraced its Bollywood lineage. It’s a film that wears its Bollywood-ness on its sleeve, becoming a showcase for the many variations the musical formula can take." Mihir Fadnavis from Mumbai Mirror gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars too and said, "The result is a predictable film that probably wouldn't have been made if it wasn't inspired by Hangover. The plot is threadbare and there's little to no character development. But despite all this it's breezy fun and never takes itself seriously, which kind of makes it work. " Meena Iyer from The Times of India gave it 3 out of 5 stars and said, "There is a certain amount of razzle-dazzle in the way Mahesh Manjrekar's "Break Ke Baad" has been written, directed and presented. But you can't help but wonder if the director could have extracted more laughs if he'd allowed his characters to be a little more outrageous." Saibal Chatterjee from NDTV gave it 3 out of 5 stars saying, ""Break Ke Baad" is a film for those who believe that cinema is serious fun.
